You guys are the best. After looking for years and spending lots of money on private investigators, I.C.A.R.E. was able to put me in touch with my birth parents information in just two weeks.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin but had moved to Dallas, Texas in 1984. Coincidentally, my birth mother was living in Dallas just twenty miles away. Sadly my birth mother, Chris lost a battle with cancer and passed on in 1988. The news was saddening, but on a positive note, I found out I had these two half-sisters (Tracy and Kiki) that knew of me and had been looking for me as well. The kicker is they lived just twenty minutes away!

We met within a few days of talking for the first time. I was set to be married just two months from the day we met and incorporated them into the wedding. That was a little over a year ago. We have grown very close. There is nothing I would not do for these girls. I regret not being their brother sooner, or knowing our mother, but am grateful to God for blessing me with them now.

A side note: I moved to Pennsylvania with my wife in July 1999. In October the girls lost their father, too. I flew to be with them the day I got the call. It dawned on me while headed there that I was the closest blood relative they had and it hit home.

My birth father turned out to be a real dud, but the relationship I acquired with the girls has completed me. For better or for worse, there is great solace in the knowing and I would encourage people to embrace the moment and empower themselves with the truth.

Thank you so much for helping me obtain such an incredible blessing. This weekend I will be seeing the girls in New York City!
